Built on sincerity.Continued with respect.
WONE was created to make renovation clearer, fairer, and easier to follow — for homeowners, businesses, and the people doing the work.
Why WONE began
A note from Mark Ling, Founder / Renovation Consultant at WONE.
I grew up watching my father work in the renovation industry for more than 20 years. I saw the long hours, the physical work, the coordination problems, and the pressure that comes with every project. Renovation is not an easy trade. It can be tiring, messy, and demanding, but I also saw how meaningful it can be when the work is done honestly.
Over the years, I also saw the parts of the industry that could be better. Customers often struggle to understand what they are paying for. Prices can feel unclear. Communication can break down. Good workers may know their craft well, but may not always be able to explain the work clearly to customers.
WONE was created because I wanted to continue my father’s legacy while improving the way renovation is experienced.
We are not here to promise the most extravagant designs or the biggest renovation packages. We are here to offer something simpler: honest recommendations, practical solutions, clear communication, and pricing that is as transparent as possible.
To me, renovation should not make customers feel lost or pressured. It should be a process built on trust, respect, and responsibility.
That is the kind of company I want WONE to be.
Bridging the gap
Good renovation depends on good communication.
Many skilled workers in the industry have years of experience and take pride in their craft. However, communication can sometimes be difficult, especially when technical details need to be explained clearly to customers. Language barriers, busy schedules, and multiple parties on-site can make the process harder to follow.
WONE aims to bridge that gap.
We help translate site progress into clear updates, explain renovation decisions in practical terms, and keep customers informed from planning to completion. By improving communication between customers, coordinators, and workers, we hope to make the renovation process smoother and more respectful for everyone involved.
Our role is not only to coordinate the work, but also to help customers feel assured throughout the journey.
WONE exists to protect the values that matter in this industry: fair pricing, honest work, clear communication, and respect for the people who build.
